Bed Rest for an Injury

←Older revision Revision as of 00:08, 29 December 2019
Line 1: Line 1:

Bed rest is necessary if you’ve recently broken a bone, experienced head trauma, or had surgery as a result of some other injury. Managing pain and eating a healthy diet is key for keeping you comfortable and healing your injury. Doing range-of-motion (ROM) exercises (if your doctor approves) and keeping yourself mentally sharp will help you deal with the physical and psychological effects of bed rest. No matter how long you’ll be on bed rest, the better your physical and mental health, the easier your recovery will be!
