Tracksmith Twilight Split Shorts

"The temps reached 60 degrees one weekend this month — then plummeted right back to sub-32. But I took advantage of the brief respite by putting on the shortest, lightest pair of running shorts I own: these Tracksmith split shorts. They're expensive, so I only own one pair, but I'm always bummed when they're in the wash. The silky material completely prevents skin-on-skin or skin-on-short chafing, and there are three sizable pockets in the back for gels, keys, or an ID." — Mirel Zaman, senior wellness editor

Adidas Ultraboost 21 Shoes

"For years, I was using running shoes that had way too much arch support. I have high arches, so I thought I needed it. When I started to develop runner's knee, I figured I needed even more support, so I added orthotics. Finally, I tried a more cushioned shoe — an Adidas Ultraboost — and as it turned out, all that extra support was just making my pronation worse. I've been an Ultraboost fan ever since, and I especially like the latest iteration. The sole is flexible and cushy while still being responsive and supporting my heel. And as a bonus, the shoe is partially made with recycle materials." — MZ

WSAKOUE Resistance Bands

Without the ability to go to the gym and take my normal workout classes, I fell out of my regular workout routine around October. I'm finally starting to ease back into strength workouts (RIP my ability to easily do 10 pull-ups), and these resistance bands have been a lifesaver. I'm able to rebuild my strength without having to compromise my workouts, even from my tiny apartment. — Hannah Rimm, Associate Editor, Money Diaries

Hatch Restore Alarm Clock

"I've been seeing this alarm clock everywhere and knew I had to try it. I usually opt for the loud, end-of-the-world-sounding alarm on my phone to wake me up each morning, but with this alarm clock I can wake up to the rising sun and a calming sound of my choice (I'm currently testing out the 'morning bird' sound but am also interested in 'heavy rain' or 'sea waves'). What's cool about this clock is that they also offer meditations you can listen to that help you fall asleep or ones that aim to kickstart your morning, but my favorite part has to be the reading light that I switch on before settling in to snooze. I've only had this thing for a few weeks but there's still so much to try out!" — Elizabeth Gulino, health + wellness writer

Burton Larosa Snowboarding Jacket

"I bought myself this snowboarding jacket at the beginning of the season and am extremely pleased with how warm it is and how it held up. It's the perfect length, has great pockets, and the color is really unique and unlike any other jacket I've owned before. Burton never misses, and I love it so much. 10/10 would buy again." — EG

Nuun Sport Tablets

"I was first introduced to Nuun tablets when I was training for my first ever New York City Marathon. I was skeptical at first. You drop a tablet into a cup of water, and, as it dissolves, it turns your pure, clear H2O into a color you’d see on a Pink Floyd poster. Depending on the flavor, you’ll see electric shades of lime, cherry, and orange. It’s weird. But it's worth it for me, because the tasty disks are full of hydrating electrolytes, sodium, potassium, and other vitamins that help bring me back to life after my sweatiest runs. I’m partial to Nuun Sport tablets, but they have others designed for recovery and rest days, too." — Molly Longman, health and wellness writer

rē•spin By Halle Berry Foam Roller

"After a few brutal muscle injuries, I’ve learned my lesson and I always foam roll before I go jogging. But the act of doing so is often brutal. I’ve tried foam rollers that were too hard, causing pain, and too soft, not doing much of anything. But this dense roller is in the Goldilocks zone. It’s the best tool I’ve found for stretching out my muscles pre-workout and helps with recovery too." — ML

Justin’s Protein Bar

"Now that I’ve let you in on my fav workout hacking products, I’ll share that after any sweat session I’m always ravenous. I’m often tempted to just chug chocolate milk like I did in my high school track days (okay, I still do this often), but when I want something a little more substantial, I’ll reach for one of these plant-based bars. They’re delish, and have 10 grams of protein. They’re best chilled, and I like the dark chocolate chip flavor best." — ML

CellularMD Daily Shield Lotion SPF & EPF

If there's one thing that's preserved my well-being over the last year, it's definitely been the long walks that I take pretty much every day — rain or shine (or even snow). And while I do wear sunscreen all-year long (of course!), now that the days are getting ever brighter, I've been paying even closer attention to what I've been putting on my face to protect it during my daily walk (and sometimes run). Lately, I've been loving CellularMD's Daily Shield Lotion, which moisturizes and protects, sinking right into my skin immediately (not always the case with mineral-based sunscreens!). Plus, no matter how rigorous my walk, it doesn't feel like it's melting off my face, letting me feel totally protected even on the brightest of days. — Kristin Iversen, Director of Lifestyle, Wellbeing, & Social Issues
