Oura Ring

"I had been looking for a good fitness tracker for a while, and was not really sold on the Apple Watch (I hated feeling so connected to my phone, and yet I couldn't bring myself to disconnect those features on the watch). When I came across the Oura Ring, I was pretty intrigued — it looks and feels like a regular ring I'd wear every day, but it's probably the best fitness tracker I've used so far. Apart from picking up on workouts without me having to always log them on the app, the ring also tracks my sleep, gives me readiness scores, and based on that, tells me how much to work out each day. It gives me a sense of control and makes me feel less guilty on days where I don't want to do a heavy workout because I'm too tired (turns out, there's a good reason for that!). Plus, the ring is pretty much waterproof, so I don't have to worry about washing my hands or, which we're all (hopefully) still doing a lot of these days." — Leora Yashari, Senior News Editor

90 Degree By Reflex Capri Leggings

"As a person with a smaller waist and larger hips, I am constantly looking for the perfect leggings that both sit tightly on my waist and don't go completely see-through when I lean over (or go upside down on a trapeze). Also, call me a hater, but I just can't get into the 'butter' feel leggings that everybody is obsessed with. Enter, the 90 Degree By Reflex leggings. They sit perfectly on my waist and hips, remain perfectly opaque no matter how I move my body, and they're closer to swimsuit-feel than butter-feel. Plus, they worked perfectly to protect my very sunburned legs for the two weeks I spent paddleboarding on a lake (and dried very quickly once I got out of the water!)." — Hannah Rimm, Associate Editor

Zamat Contour Memory Foam Pillow

"I have used the same type of pillow for years, and I can't explain what made me decide to switch it up — a fit of joie de vivre, I suppose. But I'm glad I did. I've actually been sleeping on the flatter, non-indented side of this pillow. I'm a side sleeper, and it fits into the gap between my shoulder and neck just so. The memory foam is squishy enough that it doesn't irritate my ear piercings, either." — Mirel Zaman, Deputy Director of Lifestyle, Wellbeing, & Social Issues

CVS Health Extreme Sport Bandages

"I bought a pair of sandals that looked extremely comfortable, but that totally chewed up my feet. I'm not ready to give up on them, but I'm dreading breaking them in. Hence: bandages. It's basically impossible getting a bandage to stick to one's foot in the summer, but sport bandages do a little better at adhering, without irritating my skin. These are for fingers and knuckles, but they work for feet and toes too." — MZ

Tea Tree Oil For Bug Bites

"While it's absolutely adorable that my mother still tells me even in my adulthood that I get bitten by bugs because I'm 'too sweet,' this summer has been a mosquito bite itchfest. I'm one of those people that gets huge welt-like bites all over my arms and legs, and it keeps me up all night scratching. A friend advised me to try tea tree oil, and I picked this pure oil and dabbed a few drops on each bite. I was pretty shocked by how immediately I stopped itching, and how quickly the swelling of each bite went down." — LY

Tory Sport Pleated Golf Dress

"I grew up playing golf with my dad, and have many fond childhood memories on the fairways. But I rediscovered the sport during the pandemic. It's a challenging but fun outdoor game — although one with serious flaws — and it was pretty easy to stay socially distanced. Although I hate much of what the game stands for, I admit, I got into it. Then I started looking at golf outfits, a true wormhole of cuteness. Of all the gear I looked at or tried out, I loved this dress the most. Not only is it totally chic, but it's comfy enough to move easily in and wicks moisture. Plus, it has pockets for carrying tees and ball markers (and snacks)." — Molly Longman, Senior Staff Writer

Vasque Breeze LT NTX Mid Hiking Boots

"So often when I try a new pair of hiking boots, the "breaking in" process is brutal. Blister city! But not with these. The fit was incredible from the start, plus they're waterproof, breathable, and supportive. Not to mention, the mesh is made from coffee grounds, so they're pretty sustainable. Just what I needed on my summer outdoor adventures." — ML
