Liquid error: wrong number of arguments (1 for 2)Being in a conversation with friends about a topic you don’t know is really embarrassing. No one wants to be taken as an idiot. So, these are the steps that’ll get you included in the conversation! That is if you have friends to talk with… We can’t help you if you are alone, that’s a different Wikihow. Here are the steps to make you look like you know 8th grades science. (You’ll have to learn Maths on your own.)

# [[Image:Screen Shot 2019 04 10 at 11.11.42 PM.png|center]] Understanding and memorizing your vocabulary terms is important in order to sound like a smart person if you want to achieve the highest level of intelligence in your day to day conversations. Creating an accent is optional, however, you must be careful when using a specific smart person accent to not mess up the pronunciation of the words. Otherwise, how would people know if your smart if they can’t understand you!

Light can not be split only created or destroyed. It also is a wave particle. It can behave both like a wave and a particle. Light is on the electromagnetic spectrum as visible light, the only part of the spectrum us humans can actually see.

But it applies to our everyday life, which is why you must learn this in order to earn the title of a smart person. There are 7 categories in the electromagnetic spectrum; Gamma rays, X-Rays, Ultraviolet Rays, Visible Light Waves, Infrared Waves, Microwaves, Radio waves. Electromagnetic waves are similar to ocean waves because they are both energy waves, they transmit energy. The lowest energy and longest wavelength in the spectrum are Radio Waves. Radio Waves found in lightning or they can also be emitted from stars. They are also used for communications satellites and radio communication, hence the name “radio waves.” Microwaves have a bit more energy but are still ranked very low on the spectrum. They can be used to predict the weather forecast and they help us look different parts of the planet. Microwaves have been used in the past to monitor and look for deforestation.Infrared waves emit red energy and can reach high degrees in temperature. They are definitely higher in energy on the electromagnetic spectrum, but still are not the maximum energy. The body heat that is discharged from humans is known as infrared energy. Although it cannot be seen by the human eye, stars and planets emit infrared radiation, this has led to the discovery of new planets and stars that are far beyond the reach of humans. Visible light waves is the only part of the electromagnetic spectrum that humans can see. The sun’s light is the combination of individual colors, scientists have been able to learn about the composition of the atmosphere by looking at how atmospheric particles scatter in visible light. An object's temperature can depict what color it is in this visible light. Ultraviolet waves, x-rays, and gamma rays are all considered to have high energy radiation, while the others in the spectrum are defined to have low energy radiation. Ultraviolet waves are often categorized into three groups; UV-A, UV-B, and UV-C. UV-A having the longest wavelength and is closest to the visible light region as far as energy. Then UV-B has shorter wavelength and higher energy, and the pattern continues with UV-C. Each having different effects in different ways. Some of these radiation come from space, when these radiation reach Earth they can be harmful to life. Thankfully, the ozone layers absorbs most of this harmful radiation, protecting everyone on Earth. When used in our daily lives, ultraviolet waves are often found in sterilizing products and water purifiers. X-Rays, Most known for being able to see through a person's skin to see the bones. They are produced by accelerating electrons. When used they can reveal an object’s temperature, we can tell this by checking the wavelength. The shorter the wavelength, the hotter the object is. Though we cannot actually see X-Rays, they provide a lot information to curious scientists.Gamma rays are the last thing on out electromagnetic spectrum. Gamma rays have the smallest wavelengths and the most energy of any wave in the electromagnetic spectrum. They are produced by the hottest and most energetic objects in the universe, such as neutron stars and pulsars, supernova explosions, and regions around black holes.

There are two different types of waves, transversal and longitudinal. Transversal waves move more like ocean waves, with the source moving up and down and the wave mowing up and down as well.Longitudinal Waves move left to right or right to left. Instead of an ocean wave type movement it is more similar to that of a push.

#[[Image:Screen Shot 2019 04 12 at 11.06.22 AM.png|center]] First, you must know what are analogue and digital signals and the difference between the two. Analog is an analogy of what it is portraying. For example, when looking at an analog clock, the hands show how much time has passed. The clock isn’t time itself but an analogy of it. When analog is used for things like radio, a raw signal is sent from one place to another. What makes this unreliable is at the same time, there are other signals and noise that can interfere and ruin this wave signal.Digital signal waves are encrypted messages, usually using variables of ones and zeros. An analog signal can be encrypted the same message and then transferred. Even if the signal gets a bit messed up, it can still convert back to the original, accurate signal. Therefore, they can travel longer distances while storing more and precise information. When you are walking by a big clock or talking to your friends online you can point the difference out to sound smart. (Please don’t. This is a joke.)
